CLOTH REQUIRED - TWICE THE LENGTH + 4 INCH ON UNFOLD

1. A TO B =   FULL LENGTH + 2 INCH

   2. CL =  CHEST LENGTH FROM  'A' ,(THE POINT WHERE THE
          CHEST MEASUREMENT SHOULD MARKED.

           A TO CL=CHEST/4

   3.   WL =  WAIST LENGTH FROM 'A'= DIRECTLY MEASURE IT
          FROM SHOULDER TO DOWN THE WAIST
         USUALLY 13 TO 16 INCH

          4.  A TO N            =   2.50 TO 3 INCH  
          5.  N TO 1             =   3 TO 4 INCH ( BACK NECK)           
          6.  N TO 2             =  5.50 TO 6. 50  ( FRONT NECK)  

         7.CHEST ROUND = CHEST/4 +1.50 ( MARKED

                                          AS RED OPPOSITE TO CL)

                   

         8. WAIST ROUND = WAIST/4+1.50( MARKED AS 

                                                                     GREEN)  




from that mark draw line to the end of the cloth marked as D




NOW CUT THE BACK NECK

       

  

carefully cut the frond neck avoiding the back layer. stitch the both necks.fold and stitch the bottom line.after that we have to start stitching the caftan.
 unlike other clothes,caftan must be stitched on the right side of the cloth.

u can also add an elastic on the waistline if u wish
